As we continue to focus on building features and improving our products based on your feedback, I want to share a bit about how we gather that input. Your feedback directly shapes the work we do every day, and it's a big part of why I stay so close to what matters to you. My role at Gearfire touches a lot of different parts of the business, but much of my time is spent working directly with you — our dealers and retailers — which continues to be one of my favorite parts of my day at Gearfire.
Because our success depends on yours, hearing from you and understanding what matters most is incredibly important.
About a year and a half ago, we started using a feedback app called Canny, and many of you have already visited and interacted with it. To be honest, we weren't sure how widely it would be adopted, and we couldn't be more pleased with the result.
Canny is built on your feedback. When you log in, you can review feature requests and comments from other dealers, add to existing ideas, or simply upvote the ones that matter most to your business. And if your idea isn't already there, please add it — it helps others discover it and engage. If any duplicates appear, we merge them, so all comments and votes stay together.
While we can't guarantee that every request makes it to the development roadmap — or when a planned feature will be built — we do guarantee that every item submitted is reviewed, responded to, followed up on, and shared with our team. It has become an invaluable resource for us.
Beyond submitting ideas, Canny also gives you visibility into what's planned and what's been completed through the Roadmap area. These statuses are updated daily so you can follow along with what the team is working on.
You also have access to the Changelog, where we post release notes, updates, and things we want to share — like the latest "From the Desk" newsletters or important announcements — so you can access information outside of emails or other traditional channels.
Since launching this process, we've completed 45 of your requests. While that number might not seem huge, we're proud of the progress and of how actively we respond to your feedback. We know you'd love to see everything make the roadmap (and trust me, we'd love to build it all), but your votes and comments help us prioritize your needs alongside infrastructure and other major projects that support the broader Gearfire plan.
I encourage each of you to visit Canny through your Gearfire Dealer Portal using the "Submit Feedback" link. There's already a lot out there, and we look forward to seeing new ideas come through. For those of you already active in Canny — thank you. Please keep the ideas coming!
