Hello, and Happy New Year from all of us at Gearfire!

As we turn the page to 2026 and prepare for the upcoming show season, I wanted to highlight a brand-new feature that we’re excited to announce; Gearfire eCommerce now integrates with FastBound!

“Now that it’s fully launched,  we’re looking forward to showing it in action!”

FastBound is a modern, cloud-based bound book solution built for FFLs, making it easier to manage inventory, stay compliant, and reduce manual work. By connecting FastBound directly to Gearfire eCommerce, your in-store inventory and online storefront work together seamlessly, saving time while helping you sell more.

What’s more, through our partnership with FastBound we’re able to offer this integration for FREE to both eCommerce Pro and Essentials users.

As discussed in previous newsletters, listing in-store inventory is a great way to increase sales, as well as increase foot traffic to your store for customers that like to touch and feel a product before buying it. In-store products also take priority on your site, so once you link your FastBound account to Gearfire, all products in inventory will be listed first under their appropriate category or subcategory. Each listing can also have a banner displaying “In Store Today” to alert shoppers of items they can purchase online and pickup without having to wait on shipping from a distributor.

The development team did a great job ensuring that you’re able to list specific firearms from your FastBound account to your site. This includes selecting which acquisition type, location, and condition of items should be posted automatically. Pricing settings are included to ensure products are listed at the correct price. Lastly, when a product sells on your site, Gearfire will automatically create a pending disposition in FastBound to streamline the disposition process; should you choose to enable it.

We’re in beta testing now and anticipate launching the FastBound integration in time for SHOT Show. If you’re interested in this integration, simply reach out to our Account Management team, and they’ll get you taken care of.

We have a busy schedule with upcoming trade shows and look forward to seeing you when you stop by our booths! First, we’ll be at SHOT Show on January 20th-23rd; our booth will be in the same place as last year, Booth #11255 on Venetian Level 2. We’ll also be attending:

  • Worldwide Show Spring 2026 in Reno, NV, February 3rd-5th
  • NBS Spring Semi-Annual Market in Oklahoma City February 10th-13th
  • Kinsey’s Dealer Show in Lancaster, PA February 19th-21st.

If you’re attending any of these upcoming shows, be sure to stop by and say hi! We love to have current customers drop in with questions or ideas for our team. We’ll be announcing some exciting new product and feature launches that you won’t want to miss, along with special trade show promotions on existing Gearfire products.

The Gearfire team looks forward to connecting with you soon.
