There is always plenty to talk about before, during and after Show season in the firearms industry. Gearfire looks forward to it every year, as it gives us a chance to interact with our partnering distributors and manufacturers, as well as some Gearfire dealers. One of the many trade shows we attended was the United Sporting Companies’ dealer show.
When exhibiting at shows, our goal is always to strengthen existing business relationships, and allow folks to learn more about the most powerful ecommerce website platform in our industry. In her own words, Aimee Schoonover, Director of Accounts at Gearfire, recaps her experience at the United Sporting Companies dealer show!
This past January, Gearfire was invited to attend United Sporting Companies’ Dealer Show.
For those that may not know, United Sporting Companies consist of Ellett Brothers and Jerry’s Sports Center. The annual dealer show was located at the state fairgrounds in Columbia, SC. Not only was this Gearfire’s first time exhibiting (or attending for that matter), but also my first time on the east coast. This sheltered Arizona native (alongside Gearfire’s Chief Operating Officer, Chad Seaverns) was overjoyed with the opportunity to share our ecommerce solution with FFL holders across the country.
We had the opportunity to meet and greet with FFL holders that wanted to be educated on our product, and also those that currently utilize our services to help grow their business. In many cases, Gearfire’s established customers stood by and spoke to others expressing what a great product we offer.
The positive feedback we received was humbling, ranging from the ease of operating their website to the excellent customer service they have received from the very beginning. A large thank you to United Sporting Co for inviting us to attend their show. It was unforgettable! Gearfire is looking forward to attending many more in the future.
