As we are all aware, Hurricane Harvey was massive, and struck the Houston, TX area recently. While visiting family in Houston this past weekend, I had some free time to visit our local Gearfire dealers in the area. As expected, Harvey did not slow down business, and I was welcomed with friendly Texas hospitality.

I made visits to Triple J Firearms, Saddle River Range and Spring Guns and Ammo in the Woodlands area of Houston. I enjoyed meeting everyone and learning more about their businesses. However, the true reason for each visit was to learn more about how Gearfire can better serve our customers.
Triple J Firearms – Magnolia, TX
First, I had the opportunity to meet Jonathon Chadwick of Triple J Firearms, a family owned facility that prides themselves on firearm knowledge and customer service. This high level of customer service was evident as soon as I walked into their store. I personally got to watch Jonathon in action while working with a return customer.
Saddle River Range – The Woodlands, TX
My second stop was to Saddle River Range, which is a 33,000 square foot PREMIER gun and archery range. I was greeted immediately by the staff of Saddle River and felt at home with their beautifully maintained gun store. In case you get hungry shopping, they also house Café 2A, which will fill your stomach with a nice variety of breakfast and lunch options. I had the opportunity to meet with the staff and discuss their facility and Gearfire. Their website is top notch, by the way!
Spring Guns & Ammo – 3 Locations in the Houston area!
Finally, my last stop was to Spring Guns & Ammo. They have three locations in the greater Houston area. I had the opportunity to visit their Woodlands location, which also has a 10 lane indoor range! The store was busy with foot traffic and folks searching for that new firearm toy. I met with Reagan Jones (GM) & Madison, their store manager. We discussed business and the usage of their in-store kiosk, pictured below.
I want to thank everyone that I met during my road trip for their time, feedback and facility tours. It was a pleasure to see your facilities in operation, and to see how you utilize Gearfire’s technology to give your customers more options.
