Gearfire Employee Spotlight – Ashley Marshall

Gearfire has added a new section to the blog, and it will feature an outstanding employee each month. The purpose of this is to give our dealers (and future dealers) the opportunity to learn more about our team of dedicated employees. This month, we feature Ashley Marshall, Account Manager.

Some of our team members had the pleasure of working closely with Ashley recently at SHOT Show 2018. Even with the intense pressure of the show, and chaotic atmosphere, she truly shined. Ashley’s attention to detail, ability to understand her dealer’s needs and care for her dealers on the network, has led to her success at Gearfire. Her day-to-day interactions in the office, working on strategy plans for our dealers, and any task that is thrown her way, prove that she brings value to our team.

We sat down with Ashley and asked some questions to help our readers get to know her.

When did you start at Gearfire? Tell us more about your experience thus far.

I started at Gearfire March 20th, 2017 so my 1-year anniversary will be very soon. I love working at Gearfire. I work with some awesome people, and have fantastic dealers who I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to get to know if I didn’t work here.I’ve had very few jobs that I enjoy waking up and going to.

What challenges do you face as an Account Manager?

Time management with busy dealers. I know things get hectic and crazy in the store, so when I call to check-in, I may not be able to speak to my dealer. But I’ve found making appointments for whenever the dealer gets a second, helps. Before the store opens, after the store closes, or even at home after breakfast! lol.

What do you like to do on the weekends or in your spare time?

I love going to the movies, reading, or going to a game for some sport.

What is something that most people would not know about you?

Most people don’t know I am obsessed with reading. If you see me looking at my phone it’s not because I’m on social media. It’s because I’m reading. lol.

What is something that is on your “bucket-list”?

To go stay at the Kakslauttanen Artic Resort in Finland, and see the Northern Lights.
